Rebecca Sutton is an arts and culture writer and editor with a special love for children’s literature. She has worked as a journalist, speechwriter, copywriter, blogger, grant writer, and probably as some other types of writers too.
Her children’s writing has appeared in LADYBUG magazine, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC EXPLORER!, and is forthcoming in BABYBUG magazine. She also received a Young Artist Grant from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH) to write and illustrate a children’s biography of Duke Ellington.
She graduated with a BA in Writing and History from Washington University in St. Louis, and lives in Washington, DC, with her husband, tiny human, and their mutt, Jasper Jingle Jones.
